Running
Once around the city wall around it is about 5 km. For smaller tours, the city park in the immediate vicinity, from the hotel and twice around it is about 30 minutes. In 5-minutes “jogging distance” lies the meadow ground. From here, the Wöhrder meadow opens in the direction lake of Wöhrd, jogging to the drawbridge and above. If you walk back on the other side, this is about 45-50 minutes.
Longer distances? After the drawbridge begins the water protection area, always along the Pegnitz, right or left, up the bridge, down the bridge, up to the ruins of the moated castle Oberbürg, or even further, to the oldest industrial area in Germany called Hammer.
